The White Shepherd mix sat sadly in her cage. A big
dog, she weighed less than 40 pounds and appeared
emaciated and scared. Her soft white fur was filthy
and matted. Ariel Rescue saved her on her "last day."
She was immediately brought to the veterinarian where
she was treated for minor medical conditions resulting
from neglect. After a few days, a new dog began to
emerge, a sweet little princess full of love and life.
On the millennium "Super Bowl" Sunday, she was adopted
by a wonderful couple and has become a permanent part
of their family. She is no longer the White Shepherd mix
in Cage 327, she is the family's cherished "Princess Cariboo."

Ariel Rescue is located in South Orange County and our preference is to adopt to families in the same vicinity (some dogs do get returned). We show our dogs at the Aliso Viejo PETsMART located on Aliso Creek Road (just off the 73 fwy near the Edwards Theaters) on Saturdays in the early afternoons. Please call Ariel Rescue at 949-499-9380 in advance to know which dogs we will be showing and the time
Rather than feature a dog of the week, Ariel Rescue has decided to use our web space to advertise some of the municipal shelters in LA/Orange County. At these shelters there is a large selection and a dog's life is at risk.
